A quick post whilst pre drinking to show my outfit for tonight! It's the first of two work Christmas nights out and the only one where we don't have to get ready at the office. Naturally, I took this as an excuse to get dressed up!
Galaxy Print Skirt - £14.99 H&M
Peplum Top - £5.00 Primark
I'm going to be pairing this with my Chelsea style ankle boots and studded clutch bag (Primark).

Where have I been?
I've been absent for a long, LONG time.
Lacking both time and inspiration for blogging, I decided to have a break. I had my finals at uni, graduation, wireless festival, moving house, friends leaving, my holiday, working full time and I split up with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago.
So my time was constantly spent doing something; I ran myself into the ground having too much fun then was constantly exhausted/emotional for a few weeks.
I'll be slowly working my way back into blogging, for now here are some pictures from the last couple of months!
Have you guys been up to anything lately?! :)

Broadway Impress Press on Manicure - Review
I'm not normally a false nail kind of girl. Having tried numerous brands over the years, struggling to find the perfect style and fit. I have odd nails - some are square, some are rounder and I don't like to have overly long nails as I work in an office so I struggle to find a good product.
I was hoping that these Broadway nails would be my saviour ~ alas, they were not but they weren't far off!
These nails are press on and are supposedly able to last up to a week after application. There are various sizes in the pack and unlike a lot of other nails I've tried, you are really able to find the perfect fit to your nail.
First of all you need to do the usual first steps to your manicure and cleanse the nail with this prep pad. I find it odd you only get one of these though. There are enough nails to get multiple manicures out of the pack but only one pad. So the next time I want to use these nails, I won't have a prep pad!
The adhesive is already on the back of these nails - hence how quick and easy it is to apply them all. The adhesive 'sticker' hangs over the end, allowing you to easily peel the backing off. I would recommend doing one hand at a time, although there is still no way to avoid the very last nail you do being difficult!
Here are some pictures of the finished result:
Despite the amount of time I spent filing them, they would not shorten or at least become equal length! So annoying. I don't know if maybe I was just using a crappy file or what?
But because they were too long I unfortunately had to take them off. I didn't really want to as I did like the colour but I would definitely not have been able to survive wearing them.
They were pretty easy to take off - just peeled right off. There was no damage to my natural nails and the fake ones stayed intact!
I bought mine from Superdrug for £5.99 - LINK
But I've also found these on eBay - LINK - which doesn't necessarily work out cheaper BUT they have lots more stock unlike ALL the shops in my city :)
Have any of you tried these nails? Or any other brands? I definitely want to try out some more so I would love to hear about them!
